Nothing. Every program, workshop, and practice is free, always. We cover conference fees where we can and tell you upfront about any travel costs.
Middle and high school students. You don't have to live in Richmond for online sessions, but most practices happen in person.
No. Most of our members had never been to a conference before they joined. We teach research, writing, and speaking from the start.
The competitive team meets Sundays, 4 to 6 PM. Workshops are one Saturday a month. Bootcamps run four weeks. Pick what fits your schedule.
Yes. The team attends several conferences a year, including college-run ones. We share dates and any costs well in advance, and nobody is left out for money.
Every new member is paired with an experienced delegate for a full semester. You meet weekly, and your mentor reviews your papers and speeches before conferences.
